Core Operational Directives

Your primary mandate is the safe, accurate, and timely execution of a meticulously planned delivery route. You will operate an Amazon-branded commercial transit van, utilizing proprietary telematics and routing software to achieve optimal efficiency.

• Telematics & Vehicular Safety: Command your assigned vehicle with absolute adherence to local and federal traffic statutes. You must maintain elite safety metrics as monitored by onboard artificial intelligence cameras (e.g., Netradyne), ensuring zero harsh braking, strict speed limit compliance, and appropriate following distances at all times.
• Algorithmic Route Adherence: Execute your daily manifest by strictly following the GPS-guided routing provided on your company-issued mobile device. You must adapt instantly to digital reroutes caused by traffic congestion, road closures, or network-level logistical shifts.
• High-Velocity Freight Management: Perform the rigorous physical labor required to load, sort, and deliver hundreds of packages daily. You must utilize ergonomic lifting techniques to move parcels weighing up to 50 pounds, navigating environmental obstacles such as staircases, extended driveways, and uneven terrain.
• Data Integrity & Proof of Delivery: Ensure perfect data accuracy at every stop. You must scan every parcel barcode, accurately log the delivery location (e.g., front porch, mailroom, secure locker), and capture high-resolution photographic evidence to satisfy our customer guarantee protocols.

Workplace Dynamics & Environment

This is a heavily outdoor, independent operational role. Your shift will commence at a high-volume Delivery Station where you will interface briefly with dispatch management and load-out matrices. Following the 20-minute load-out window, you will spend the remaining 8 to 10 hours of your shift entirely on the road. You must be prepared to operate your vehicle and execute physical deliveries in all weather conditions, ranging from extreme summer heat to heavy winter precipitation. You will be provided with high-visibility safety apparel and must adhere to strict uniform standards to represent the Amazon brand professionally in the public sphere.
